The objective of Healthcare Services division is to develop Singapore as Asia's Premier Healthcare Service Hub for International Patients
The division's targets (by 2012):
- 1 million foreign patients annually
- $2.6 billion of value-add and 1% of GDP contribution

Healthcare Services is organised into three departments:
The department has two key roles - the development and promotion of Singapore as an economic medical hub (for primary and secondary medical care) and co-ordination of marketing and promotional programmes that cut across the whole division. It also undertakes the development and maintenance of the division's marketing portal (www.singaporemedicine.com). In addition, it services certain healthcare providers. The healthcare providers are our key customers and it is important for us to work closely with them through dedicated contact points.
The department works with STB's regional offices to promote Singapore's healthcare services in-market for selected countries.
The department has two key roles - the development and promotion of Singapore as a clinical medical hub (for tertiary and quaternary medical care) and co-ordination of channel development and packaging of programmes that cut across the whole division. It also undertakes the development of the healthcare information and service booths and kiosks at Changi Airport and organises programmes within the airport.
In addition, it services certain healthcare providers as industry accounts. The department works with STB's regional offices to promote Singapore's healthcare services in-market for selected countries. The department also looks into issues relating to advertising guidelines and visa regulations to better facilitate medical visitors to seek healthcare services here.
The department has two key roles - the development and promotion of Singapore's allied health, wellness and complementary medicine services and the development and enhancement of the patients' and accompanying persons' experience in Singapore. Implementation of image/advertising campaigns come under its purview. The department works with STB's regional offices to promote Singapore's healthcare services in-market for selected countries.
