The mission of the Strategic Clusters I and II Divisions is to develop and grow existing conventions and exhibitions and attract new business events that would reinforce Singapore's reputation as the Exchange Capital of the world.
For greater synergy with other economic agencies and Singapore's key engines of growth - internationally traded services and manufacturing, Strategic Clusters I and Strategic Clusters II Divisions focus on nurturing, attracting and anchoring business events within these industries.
The strategic location of Singapore within the emerging Asian markets helps to establish Singapore as a critical hub for professional exchange as well as inter-regional and intra-regional trade. One of the divisions main goals is to develop conventions and exhibitions as platforms for business professionals to network, exchange ideas and seek out business opportunities in Singapore and the region.
The Divisions work closely with associations, government agencies and the MICE industry to develop and attract business events and in promoting attendance of delegates and their companions in conventions and exhibitions scheduled to take place in Singapore.
