Seven statutory boards under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) have pioneered a human resource initiative to strengthen their capability in attracting, developing and retaining talent. The common objective is to nurture future leaders to help drive Singapore's economic development.
This initiative, branded FIREfly, is a collaboration among the Economic Development Board (EDB), JTC Corporation (JTC), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Energy Market Authority (EMA), Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore), International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
FIREfly will provide an exciting gateway to career opportunities spanning seven of Singapore's most innovative economic agencies, whose activities range from trade and industry, science and technology, tourism, enterprise and industrial development. The agencies will work on a systematic career development system that will include identifying and facilitating rotation of officers to the various FIREfly agencies.
As part of FIREfly, the seven agencies will be offering scholarship under this new brand name and no longer under their individual agency names.
We would like to invite you to join us in discovering your potential and the enriching experience you would gain from The FIREfly-STB Scholarship Programme.
